Shauna Mackin

This Dublin born musical genius now residing in the land of Manchester is definitely one to keep your eye on (should folk/soul be your genre).  This 22 year old moved to this great city in 2009 to pursue her dream to turn a hobby into a career, as all great musicians do, and studied at Salford University. Today she is working hard to be heard and she deserves to be!

Her latest single ‘Rita’ had Inconspicuous needing to find out more, so the homework has been done and it’s safe to say if you do yours you will not be disappointed.

From everything seen and heard it seems she is loosely placed in the folk category. But thanks to the calm and warm tone of her voice, she has the ability to remind her audience of Pamola Faith, Adele, Ellie Goulding and Eva Cassidy meaning she clearly has a diverse and interesting voice with the ability to claim a category all of her own.

Since releasing her debut EP ‘Little blue’ she has slowly been creating a name for herself. This unique, soulful individual has a very promising future which Inconspicuous will be following the entire way.
It is heavily suggested you check out the stuff for yourself:
