Ten79

We came across these guys on the 27/06/2014 and after hearing their music was delighted to find out their debut album was due to be released 23 days later ‘Love, life, lies’ (look out for it).

This York based quartet crossed our path after seeing them ranked #1 on reverb nation UK. Definitely something to be proud of.

Establishing in what we believe was 2012 these guys have clearly worked hard paid their dues and have become seasoned professionals in what they do, which is as their twitter states offering ‘no egos, just music’ and they certainly deliver.

So where did these guys appear from? Who knows (well they do I guess) but they apparently were all part of various ventures and have come together to fill our airwaves with amazing sounds.

Ten 79 made up of Garry Luckhurst, Jim Cadwellender, Wally Youngman, Brian Heartington have much to offer in terms of genre covering a large section of the board from rock through to indie through to folk. Offering heart touching stories this coupled with the working yet contrasting rhythm fills the listener (well us at least) wanting to hear more.

The success so far is noticeable but the potential is endless with their talent. That being said talent isn’t all they have going for them creativity is always an added bonus and something they have the results from featuring the A107 in their music video that was filmed by a band member after a brain wave simply proves the creativity, and shows a bit of Britain in the process.

So go give them a listen see for yourself how great they are and keep an eye out for the release!!

Was great listening to your music guys good luck for the future look forward to seeing more.

Paisley Please

Deep in the Scottish land a town is housed going by the name of Paisley (we had never heard of it before either but apparently it’s in Glasgow). This town holds three lads Andy Quinn, Henry Hannigan and Paul Lamb, together they form ‘Please’.

Now if you have never heard of them you’re way out of the scene clearly these guys are a big contender to be the next best thing.

Forming in late 2012 (according to Facebook), through what research has told us their college institution James Watt College, they have been providing the airways with a wide stretched repertoire ranging from soul, through to punk, funk, progressive and rock and roll.
This came across our twitter radar a few days ago and had to get a piece written about them. By doing this and scratching the surface we found they have stories of pain, amazingly catchy riffs and very, very emotive music.

This relatively new to the scene band have definitely got their foot in the door being ranked 19th on the UK reverb rock charts and being given the chance to be played on online radio stations.

Now there are massively successful bands out there who never give back but not these guys half of their sales are donated to ‘Keep a child alive’ aiming to increase compassionate care and HIV treatment. A very worthy cause to be chosen.
Currently in the midst of writing their debut album it is safe to say it is one to keep your one eye open through the night.
Nothing but faith is held by us for these guys now lads it’s your turn to deliver.

Intro: Tamara Jenna

We have been away for a while, but this one brought us back with a vengeance!

The future of music is finally here.....

Have you ever heard an artist and thought 'FRESH' well that is what Tamara brings to the table.

Her unique voice and amazingly ear catching rap takes the listener on a journey of senses, self discovery and the amazing discovery of Tamara Jenna herself.

Birmingham born and raise she is finally bringing herself out of the shadows and filling the air with everything she has to offer. Ed Sheeran has nothing on this girl's word play and no one currently can show so much emotion in a voice. Feel her past in her lyrics and feel her raw emotion in every syllable.

Listen before you judge and appreciate this new up and comer.

This amazing artist has an amazing future ahead of her but is starting small with her four track debut EP 'Intro' set to cause a big stir in the city free to download from last FM, followed by the live performances around the city.

This is definitely one to watch so click the links below to find out more

Tom Moon

Have you ever had a moment where you hear a voice and just think WOW!!
Well then you need to get listening to Tom Moon, wow does not cover the warmth of that voice and here at Inconspicuous we got very excited to find this one.

This travelling vicars son come Harrogate rock band god (we assume), has now graced us with his angelic voice and heart-warming music.

Originating in Liverpool (according to facebook) Tom has now taken off to the capital living, gigging and being amazing in London. This talent is one that needs to be recognised and soon it’s just plain wrong that it is not being heard throughout the land.

This Ben Howard/Mumford and sons/ Male Eva Cassidy sound is one to take over the future of music, there is no doubt about the capabilities of Mr Moon’s future.

Tom writes music to warm the heart and voice to make anyone fall in love, definitely not what you would expect form a modern day artist with a background like his (from what we can find out) This is definitely a favourite of Inconspicuous for future success.

So what out so far that has us so excited?
Well the personal favourite of ours is ‘By the by’ this EP can melt the heart and chill the sole, worth every penny priced at just £4. Then there is the latest a collaboration with an artist by the name of Awoma, now this is for you R&B lovers, we advise checking out ‘Smiling eyes part II’ this is one to get your goose bumps going. Repeat is a button that has been used extensively with this ep

Tom your future is bright, keep us updated we beg you.

Tom Barrow

Heard his name yet? Well if you've not you will do soon!
This is another lucky inconspicuous find.

This acoustic singer songwriter is the biggest asset to Manchester, Castlefield we have found so far.

This talent deserves to be heard, which is happening slowly after having 1304 plays of ‘Space to rent’ on soundcloud (when we last looked).

Who is this young talent, we actually don’t know there’s not much we have been able to find out about him other than the fact that his debut EP is now available on soundcloud (FREE MAY WE ADD). Featuring songs that go by the names of ‘Space to rent’, ‘School yard games’, ‘Stuck in Shudehill’ and ‘Tipsy’. This is definitely one to get on your laptops, IPods, Mobiles and any other device you carry with you to blast the sound.

This is one for the chilled! With the calm rhythms witty lyrics and antique vibe/approach to the sound. There is a slight rock and roll vibe in with the rock style vocals it’s safe to safe this is a contrast that is not easy to find, one that works and one that is sure to be a success.

You should all go see a live gig too we are sure it’s worth it and Team Inc will be attending one very soon.

Last Acts

So we have stumbled across this talented bunch!

‘Last Acts’ the Sheffield four piece that is blessing the airwaves with their amazing alternative sound and talent.

They offer an ear grabbing sound with vocal matching a confused Emo style at times (Not a bad thing it definitely work for these guys).

There are those in the world that are musically challenged and always put forward the point that they don’t necessarily understand style or genre! Well these guys can break through that barrier and even those narrow-minded people can enjoy the foot tapping experience that is provided.

This band produces some awesome riffs (personal favourite being in ‘One too Many’)

‘Last Acts’ are soon to be on radio stations, magazine front covers, and playlists everywhere the future looks bright for these guys and Team Inc will obviously be following you every step of the way (In the shadows of course).

Inc Return and The Psycho Strangers.

So we have it the first post in months!! What have we been doing? Well the logistics of how Team Inc can be the best it can!

Besides we don’t need to explain! We are not here about us it’s all about the music so lets get to it.

Have any of you beautiful people heard of ‘The Psycho Strangers’? No? Well now you have.

This four-piece Leeds based band has stumbled into the Inconspicuous radar. What type of sound you ask? Well RAW! Releasing unproduced work is and would not be a worry for this band they have the potential to get far with just that!

It may be new and may still be a work in progress but the potential is amazing. Clever writing enables this band to convey the great emotion keeping the listener tuned in.

Are one of those that likes to sing along? Well then this is the way forward, one listen and you will be able to pick up on it all and be jamming along in no time another skill of a musician.

This quartet made up of  Daniel James Drinkwater, Zachery Andrew Chipp, Benjamin Bowden and Gareth Evans (according to their Facebook anyway) have been gracing the north with their sound and hopefully will continue to do so into 2014.

Good luck Guys!
