So on the 11th of August Inconspicuous had the
pleasure of attending the EP release of ‘Flying’ from Bella Diem. The band was
not one that was on the Inconspicuous radar, we hadn’t heard of them however
attended, well, just because we were passing but luckily we did!
This 5 piece band hailing from Birmingham put on a cracking
show from the support by Lauren Pryke and Bigger than Seattle, through to their
introduction of truly talented sound.
Let’s get the criticism of the night out of the way, whoever
was sound guy did not do well, the drums often over powered all the other
instruments and vocals which is a shame.
That being said it was still awesome. This band shows a little
shyness and vulnerability, that is until of course they start to play! It’s
like they begin to play go into their own world and all nerves vanish never to
be seen.
Their soul catching songs filled with crazy guitar riffs allow
the crowd to be caught in a journey with the band, controlling how the audience
will feel. The romance in the room was amazing and this Team Inc member was
glad to be with my partner otherwise may have had to grab onto a stranger to
just give them a hug!!
Another band for team Inc to watch and we love it! We definitely
suggest you buy the EP, watch a gig or even send them a message showing the
love. We know here at Inconspicuous we will be keeping a close eye!
