ACROSS THE POND DISCOVERY!! CURLYS JEWELS!

So over the weekend we went searching we wanted to show the out of UK love, hours later we thought why not try our usual lazy method the internet! Sure enough through the twitter love once again we found Curlys Jewels.

This New Zealand Band (Wellington, in case you were wondering) definitely blew all other acts that we had found out of the water, with an unusual yet standard back story.

The band formed in 2011 via the platform of Facebook, starting off with just two members: Janelle and Aaron as an acoustic duo. After releasing their debut EP together ‘flung flang flonge’ they discovered their sound was more tailored towards the electric guitars, so their visions took them through the process of acquiring two more members, so along came Corey and Andy.

Playing as local venues as much and as often as possible has seen then gain a very strong and loyal following which with the talent these guys possess is understandable.

The tracks harbour attitude filled vocals and are filled with the glorious grunge riffs that both oppose and complement each other at the same time!

The guys (and girl) are now working towards their debut album and Inconspicuous know it will be amazing, not its just to play the waiting game.
